
My journey in wine began at the Velvet Glove restaurant at the Fairmont Hotel Winnipeg. It was there that I realized I knew nothing about wine. Soon thereafter I began my journey with the International Sommelier Guild and I loved every drop. After completing the advanced course with distinction I began working for Vineland Estates Winery. Eight years later what continues to make wine so gratifying for me is embracing the fact that you can always learn something new about wine. Not only have I learned from the Winemaker, and the Vineyard Manager but also from Mother nature, the vines and the people in the rows who care for them daily.
